Brady Mitchell

Brady Mitchell

Automotive Technology Instructor

“Working on cars has always been a passion of mine. In high school, I took 2 years of auto shop and ended up winning a contest that gave me the opportunity to attend college for free. After getting a degree, I worked in industry for many years. But I always felt like I could do more. That is when I transitioned to become an Automotive Technology Instructor. I’ve been teaching for 9 years and I love every minute of it. Not only do I have my own auto shop, but I can teach young, energetic students about my passion. West-MEC is a great place to feed your passion of Automotive Technology from a top notch facility to instructors that have just as much passion about cars and trucks as the students do.”

Darin Sowby

Darin Sowby

Computer Tech

“West-MEC is a great institution for both employees and students. For our students it provides viable alternative paths that lead to successful employment other than the extreme debt usually incurred with a university education. Our hard-working students get hands-on experience in their fields of interest and when they graduate they are ready to work.”

David

David Melian

Auto Collision Technology Instructor

“Automotive collision repair has been my passion since attending auto body class back in high school. I was always fascinated by how we could transform wrecked, neglected, or forgotten cars into beautiful works of art. I never got tired of seeing the satisfaction on a vehicle owner’s face when they picked up their vehicles. As an auto collision repair instructor for the past sixteen years, I get great satisfaction in knowing I helped guide students with a similar passion for cars by preparing them for a rewarding life long career in the auto collision repair industry.”

Hailey Adams

Hailey Adams

Veterinary Sciences Instructor

“Animals have always been my passion. From a young age I learned to help the sick and injured, so it was only natural that I would enter the veterinary field. What I didn’t expect was how much I would enjoy teaching others to care for animals with the same love and dedication. There is only one thing better than increasing your own knowledge, helping others increase theirs. By doing so you can influence and help exponentially more human and animal lives.”

I know everyone around me and through out West-MEC wants me to succeed, which will reflect greatly in the classroom I am proud to be a part of something so great and worth doing.”
