Congratulations to James Brown, West-MEC Director of Career and Technical Education. Mr. Brown was honored as an award winner for his dedication to CTE      at the 34th annual ACTEaz summer conference in Tucson, AZ in July.

ACTEaz President Charles Gallagher and Past-President Mary Anne Berens presented Mr. Brown with the award. 

Students enrolled in the West-MEC Cosmetology Program were welcomed into the Cutting Edge Style Academy for the first day of the program on Monday, July 27th, 2009. First-year students received training tools and kits. Returning students reconnected with peers and prepared for their second year in the West-MEC cosmetology program.
