The list of services West-MEC offers has grown a great deal. It was time to trade in the little boat for a larger ship to sail into the future.
West-MEC’s vision to enhance opportunities for our students expands beyond just the teenager in high school. To West-MEC, a student is a person who wants to advance their knowledge and skill set in a particular subject. No matter what stage in your career – high school student, teacher or administrator – West-MEC invites our “students” to share and learn at our new corporate office and training center.
As part of the West-MEC Professional Development department, educators may enroll in a variety of courses and workshops. All workshop/course participants will receive certificates documenting hours for instructional recertification. Educators from throughout Arizona are welcome to participate. Priority is given to employees from West-MEC member districts. Prices listed are for employees in West-MEC member districts. Individuals from districts outside of West-MEC who wish to participate in these workshops should contact the West-MEC Professional Development office at 623.738.0024 for pricing. In addition to the various skill-building workshops available, West-MEC is proud to open its doors to event planners seeking state-of-the-art conference rooms and classrooms to host meetings and/or conferences. West-MEC meeting facilities offer distinct advantages including:
Technology – dual-platform computer software, video conferencing, interactive presentation capabilities, and more.
Accessibility – one-day meetings, one-hour meetings, conferences, all are welcome.
Convenience – meeting rooms, laboratory classroom and industry-standard kitchen facilities give you the hole-in-one, slam-dunk when it comes to your conference planning.
