West-MEC’s primary focus is providing Career and Technical Education to students in high school. Learn more below.

Central Programs are CTE programs offered to high school students. Students that want to attend a Central Program through West-MEC attend school either online, at home, or at their main high school campus for part of their day, and travel to a West-MEC Campus or Partner Program Campus to attend their Central Program of choice.

Below are the Central Programs available to juniors and seniors in high school.

Did you know that you may be taking a West-MEC course now and not even know it! West-MEC provides funding to our Member School Districts to teach Career and Technical Education courses to students. If you attend any of the following high schools and are taking a CTE course, chances are that is a West-MEC Satellite Program. To find our more about West-MEC and the opportunities available to you, contact your school counselor today!

Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) are vocational organizations primarily based in high schools and career technology programs. They are organizations that are integrated into Career and Technical Education to help engage students in leadership skill building activities.

West-MEC is proud to support all Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) throughout our Member School Districts. Students active in CTSOs assume positive, productive roles in their community and are better prepared for a career and continuing their education after high school.
